D Bus University of Exeter
D Bus University of Exeter, The D bus timetable is changing
Following feedback from staff and students, Stagecoach are launching a new D bus timetable to serve the University’s Exeter campuses.
The new D bus timetable, which will go live on Monday 2 February 2015, will reduce the journey time between the Streatham and St Luke’s campuses to enable more efficient inter-campus travel.
Working in partnership with Stagecoach and Devon County Council, the University has continued to invest in a range of incentives to encourage staff and students to travel by bus to the campuses, and currently offer:
- A one third staff discount on single tickets on the D and H bus services when travelling to and from the University’s Exeter campuses;
- A 10% staff discount on weekly, monthly, 13 weekly and annual bus passes to cover the city of Exeter and the Devon Stagecoach network;
- A discounted student bus pass to cover the city of Exeter and the South West Stagecoach network.
The introduction of these initiatives, alongside a range of promotional activities, has resulted in a increase in the proportion of staff and students who travel by bus and a 29% increase in patronage on the University-subsidised D bus service.
The new D bus timetable is available to view online.
