Dr Lisa Ganobcsik-Williams’ research interests include Writing in the Disciplines (WiD), Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC), Writing for Scholarly Publication, Writing Centre Management and Writing and Technology.

Erik Borg teaches Master’s level modules on research methodology and writing for scholarly publication. He also works with disciplinary staff to improve writing and assessment on their courses and to improve their own scholarly writing. He is the leader of the Centre for Academic Writing’s Master’s in Academic writing theory and practice. He has published articles in Art, Design, and Communication in Higher Education, ELT Journal, the Journal of English for Academic Purposes, Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education, and Teaching in Higher Education, and given presentations at conferences on topics related to intertextuality and plagiarism, the assessment of writing, and writing in art and design.

Dr Catalina Neculai joined Coventry University after doing a PhD and teaching in the Department of English and Comparative Literary Studies at the University of Warwick, where she had been a Warwick Research Fellow and a teaching assistant since 2002. She became a lecturer at the Centre for Academic Writing (CAW) in May 2009. Her research interests include Literacy and Rhetoric (professional academic writing, interdisciplinarity, social and cultural literacies, pedagogies of resistance, neoliberalism) and American Studies (19th/20th century US writing and culture, urban cultural geography and trans-national knowledge production and networks).
