City University London Reviews
Course reviews at this provider
Many research events going on including seminars, forums, research groups, conferences etc. Great staff and support. Excellence in clinical research and language. Highly recommended!
Student lifeBased in central London ideal for all aspects of student life
Lecturing staff are experts in their fields and are really friendly. Alot of support early on in the course, particularly in subjects students find challeging, like linguistics. Alot of opportunity for practical learning on placements. Good peer support in tutorials. The course is heavy sometimes, but most students say they feel confidente as a SLT when they finish.
Student lifeSometimes a little lifeless. As the university is in the centre of London, many students travel in from a long was away and there is less of a ‘student’ feel than some campus universities.
I go in 4 days a week for classes which i think is great, you definitely get your moneys worth and you have the one day off to do work expereince which is part of the course. Tutors are ok, they are always accessible. We even can contact them on facebook. Dont have that many exams its more based on assignments
Student lifeI do look forward going and the students are ok but very competitive probably due to the course. I have made quite a lot of friends and not only form my course and I defintiely know I have made contacts for future us
