Cardiff University Scholarships
The standard of applications we receive is high and competition for places is strong, with the vast majority of our students choosing Cardiff University as their first choice university.
Each Cardiff University Scholarship is worth £3,000. They are cash payments and are not means tested. The scholarships are available to undergraduate students beginning their studies in September 2017.
Scholarships are available in a number of subject areas. Check the eligible degree subjects list to see if the scholarships are available for your specific degree programme.
The scholarships will be awarded to UK students coming to Cardiff University in September 2017 and undertaking one of the degree programmes designated for a scholarship.
In order to obtain a scholarship you need to:
- achieve minimum grades AAA at A level (or an equivalent qualification)
- satisfy all aspects of your offer
- accept the offer of a place at Cardiff on a firm basis by 31 July 2017
- meet all the terms of our terms and conditions.
You don’t need to apply for a scholarship if you meet both your offer conditions and the terms and conditions of the scholarship scheme. You will automatically be considered for an award, and will be notified of your scholarship no later than the end of October.
