We are building state-of-the-art facilities to help innovation thrive.

The Innovation Campus extends our footprint in the heart of Cardiff, transforming a disused railway yard into a space for collaboration with industry.

The Hadyn Ellis Building was the first development to be completed. It brings together experts in conditions such as schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s disease and stem cell cancer research for the first time. It was followed by the Cardiff University Brain Research Imaging Centre, which is one of Europe’s flagship facilities for brain research imaging.

The city council have approved planning for the Translational Research Facility and Innovation Central, as well as development of the public realm. A new footbridge will connect the Campus to Cardiff Business School, providing quick access to our executive education.
