European exchange (Erasmus+)
As part of your degree, students can apply for placements across Europe through our Erasmus+ programme. Erasmus+ is a European exchange programme that enables students to study or work in a European country for 2-12 months as part of their degree programme.
Students who participate in the Erasmus+ Programme (study or work) are eligible to receive an Erasmus grant to help offset the additional costs of living and studying abroad.
We have placements internationally across a range of recognised schemes. Our exchanges offer you the chance to spend a semester or academic year studying at one of our many exchange partners outside of Europe, as part of your degree. We have partners globally, including institutions in the USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong and South America.
Taking part in a European or international exchange is a great way to immerse yourself in a new culture and make friends from around the world. As an exchange student, you’ll get a chance to learn and develop an impressive skill set which will enhance your employability, helping you stand out in an increasingly competitive international graduate job market.
