Canterbury Christ Church University Graduation
Graduation day is the exciting culmination of your university studies – the day when your ambitions are realised.
Preparing for the day
Confirm your attendance
You’re required to complete an online reply form 8 weeks prior to your ceremony. Whilst completing the online reply form you have the opportunity to purchase your allotted two guest tickets, priced at £22 per guest.
Any additional tickets (subject to availability) will be advertised at 09.00 two days after the closing date on the Graduation & Registry Events Office web page.
Hire your academic robe
Robes are mandatory and graduands must wear robes appropriate to the level of qualification being received. Even if you already hold a higher qualification, you must also hire a CCCU robe via our suppliers, Ede & Ravenscroft, who require 3 weeks’ notice of hire.
Visit the Ede & Ravenscroft website to hire your graduation robe.
Photography – prior to the ceremony
You and your guests have the opportunity to have official graduation photographs taken prior to the day of graduation. If you’re unable to attend the ceremony, this gives you the opportunity to still have professional photographs taken.
Ede & Ravenscroft will supply the appropriate gown for your award, there is no additional cost for this provision.
The University will endeavour to make reasonable provisions to enable graduands and guests with disability requirements to participate in and enjoy our graduations. You will have the opportunity to advise us of your requirements when completing your reply form, that will be available 8 weeks prior to your ceremony.
