The Learning Centre is the Student Support hub for the Broadstairs campus. It is home to the Library, Bookshop and i-zone student infromation service. Student Support, Health and Wellbeing, Career Development and the Academic Learning advisors have regular drop ins too.
There is easy access to computers (both PC and Mac), books, periodicals and media resources. The Learning Centre includes quiet study areas, group study spaces and bookable study rooms; a full range of environments to support learning.
Library staff are on hand to help users make the most of the print, media and online resources. Library staff also support the use of the computers and software available in the Learning Centre.
Students at Broadstairs can also make the most of the library and learning resources at other campuses.
The Learning Centre is situated on the second floor of the Carey building.
Library Services is committed to ensuring that learning, teaching and research at Canterbury Christ Church University is supported through high quality library facilities, with appropriate resources available to all users, supported by professional staff expertise.
These regulations have been agreed to safeguard the interests of users of the University Library Services and to assist in ensuring the overall quality of the services we provide. The regulations apply to all users of the Library Services, and all members of Library Services staff are empowered to enforce them. The term “Library” refers to any campus library of the University.
