Buckinghamshire New University Health and Social Care

Health and Social Care

From social policy and professional practice to sharpening the skills needed for leadership and management, this foundation degree is designed for those who work, or wish to work, in a variety of health and social care positions.

What are the entry requirements?

A typical offer will include GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent and a UCAS Tariff score of 40-56. This can be achieved by taking an NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care. If your application is successful, we’ll invite you for an interview.

We welcome applications from mature students. You do not always need formal qualifications to apply, but will need to have an interview with the course leader.

Every application is considered on an individual basis.

If your application is successful, you will be invited to a selection day at our High Wycombe Campus. Selection days are an important part of our application process. They are a great opportunity for you to show us your interests in health and social care and prove that you are the perfect person for the course.
