Exchanges & Study Abroad

Participating in an exchange programme is a great way to live in another country while continuing your studies and broadening your horizons. You have the opportunity to see your subject from a different perspective, to meet new people and to experience things that you may otherwise not have been able to. It can be an invigorating experience and exciting challenge.

Studying overseas can also give you that extra edge once you have graduated and are thinking of going onto further study or looking for employment. It shows employers you are adaptable and are not afraid to try new things.

Brunel is part of the EU wide Erasmus+ programme through which eligible students can spend part of their degree programme either studying or working. Beyond this we maintain links with institutions in the USA, China, Japan and Korea. You can take part in either Erasmus+ or non-Erasmus exchange programme through Brunel University London depending on your field of study.

Students coming to Brunel

Students from the EU can take part in an Erasmus+ programme at Brunel.

Students from our partner institutions that are outside the EU can go on a non-Erasmus exchange to study at Brunel.

If there is no exchange agreement in place, then the Study Abroad Programme may be an option for overseas students who are interested in spending a semester/term or a full academic year at Brunel.
