Plan your journey
Plan your journey in advance and carry your contact details with you should you be late, this will help avoid extra stress on the day.
Bring all your required documents including your personal statement. This is something you don’t want to forget.
Read your personal statement
Ensure you have reviewed your personal statement as you may be asked to expand further on something you have said.
Be clued up
Before your interview observe the world around you. Tutors may ask you questions around current affairs related to your subject area so make yourself aware and knowledgeable.
Big yourself up!
What are your strengths? Are you a team player, have excellent communication or organisation skills? Where you can, make sure you support your claims with examples.
Get into the zone
Ask your teacher, adviser or family member to have a mock interview with you. Questions you may be asked are why you chose that course and what you enjoy most about your current studies.
Get your questions ready
Prepare some questions to ask your interviewer about your course. This will show that you have a genuine interest in the subject.

Remember to dress smartly, it gives a good impression and shows you mean business. This means no jeans or trainers boys and girls!
