Bangor University Welsh Courses
Over the last 40 years Bangor University has developed a structured and effective programme for adult learners of Welsh.
Tens of thousands of students have benefited from the combination of carefully graded courses, highly experienced and committed tutors and first class back-up services.
We offer a wide range of classes providing the learner with a clear progression route from one level to the next. Courses are available daytime and evening across Gwynedd, Conwy and Anglesey. Find out more about our courses….
Bangor is set in a Welsh speaking community and you’re sure to receive a warm welcome.
Students can choose to study through the medium of Welsh. Bangor offers more courses through the medium of Welsh compared to other universities in Wales. Many Schools offer courses in the Welsh medium or it may be possible for you to opt for Welsh language modules alongside an English medium degree.
