The Halls Office Team look after the Halls of Residence and the students who live in Halls. We are here to help and advise you and to answer all your queries regarding Halls accommodation.
Over 3,000 places…
Currently the University has around 3,300 places on three residential locations in Bangor and we are able to guarantee a place in a hall of residence to all new first year undergraduates who make an application by 31 July.
Conforming to the UUK Code of Practice
Our Accommodation conforms to the The Universities UK Code of Practice for University Managed Student Accommodation.
Near the city centre…
All the accommodation locations are within walking distance of the city centre and the University buildings. All bedrooms have a bed, wardrobe or storage space, chair and work area. All our accommodation is offered on a self catered basis.
We also have accommodation for some postgraduate students and some students participating in visits from abroad via our International Office.
- We are able to guarantee a place in halls of residence to all new first year undergraduates who choose Bangor as their Firm Choice and make an application within the given timeframe.
- To help you make a choice regarding the hall in which you would like to live, please choose a hall of residence from the ‘Choose a Hall’ menu’ for detailed information.
- Student room insurance is provided through Endsleigh. This covers items in your room against theft, fire and flood. To check what is covered, just download your insurance certificate.
