Our fitness and yoga classes take place in the studios at the Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Sports Centre
You don’t need to have a membership to do the classes you can just pay per class.Times and sessions vary throughout the year and classes can be aimed at all levels.
Fitness classes are a great way to motivate yourself to keep fit and to train harder and our expert instructors will give you all the advice and encouragement you will need! Please follow the links for more information:
Classes can only be booked on the day. Just come along to the Sir Doug Ellis Woodcock Reception 15-20 minutes before each class to buy your ticket. You must take your ticket to the class and hand it to the instructor to make sure you are allowed in.
For health and safety reasons you will not be able to join a class once the warm up section has been completed. Please make sure you wear the correct clothing and footwear to the classes. Failure to do so will result in you not being able to take part.
|Aqua Aerobics (Ladies Only)|
Suitable for all levels. This class is an excellent low impact cardiovascular and muscle toning workout using water as resistance. No swimming skills are necessary to attend this class.
Classes simulate riding on various types of terrain such as hills and flat roads by adjusting the resistance on your bike. This class will increase your stamina levels and is a great calorie burner.
During a Hatha yoga session, the practitioner will move through a number of poses, holding them for varying amounts of time and working in a set order to ensure that muscle groups are slowly warmed up and evenly worked.
