As an International Student joining Aston University, there is specific help and information available to you in this section. We can help with visas, pre-arrival, Meet and Greet (for students arriving in September), visa scanning and other Tier 4 student visa regulations.
If you require any help or support before you leave for Aston, please contact our dedicated Pre-Entry Advisers who can help with visa queries or any other questions you may have relating to your arrival. You can contact them by telephone, email or by arranging a Skype appointment. We are here to make your transition to Aston as smooth as possible, so please get in touch.
You could also request to be put in touch with a pre-arrival e-mentor – a current Aston student who knows how it feels starting at Aston as well as moving to a new country, will remember the questions they had when they were in your position and can share their experiences to help you to settle in quickly.
Once at Aston
Once you are at Aston, there are a number of important tasks that you will need to complete in order to be fully enrolled as an Aston student. You may also want to open a bank account, certain students will be required to register with the Police and speak to a member of staff about your tuition fees – you can get help with all of these tasks by visiting The Hub Advice Zone and Finance Centre in the Main Building, this is also where you will find our specialist Immigration Advisers and various other services.
