From 1st April 2017, the Village Surgery will be stopping the early morning and late evening surgeries due to the shortage of doctors.  However, please be reassured that these appointments will not be lost but moved to our standard hours.

CQC Inspection

On Wednesday 13th December, the Village Surgery was inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who thoroughly reviewed all our clinical and management procedures to assess if we were working to the nationally set standards.  We are very pleased to announce that we received a ‘Good’ rating in all areas which signifies that we are performing well and meeting all the CQC’s expectations.
A lot of hard work was undertaken by all the staff at the surgery in order to achieve this rating and we are very pleased with the result.
A copy of the full CQC Inspectors’ report is available at the following link.

Have your say in how NHS Care is shaped in Dorset. Dorset CCG would like your views on their proposals for changing the way local community and hospital-based services are organised.  They have therefore produced a Consultation Document and Questionnaire for patients to complete and copies are available from the Surgery until 28th February 2017.
