Get practical experience of the role of an adult nurse on our Nursing and Midwifery Council-validated course, through a range of clinical placements. You’ll be helping people to improve, maintain or recover their health and to achieve the best possible quality of life.

A compassionate nurse understands the need to place the wellbeing of individual patients at the centre of the care delivered and to defend what is right for patients and act as a role model. We are dedicated to the continual improvement of healthcare and dedicated to delivering the values set out by the NHS Constitution.

Our Nursing and Midwifery Council validated course places equal value on clinical practice and theory. It will take you from university lectures to clinical placement settings for young and mature adults. You may well find yourself at a GP surgery, attending health visits or in the middle of a variety of hospital settings, from accident & emergency through to acute care and oncology.

We’ll support you all the way. You’ll soon discover that our faculty is a stimulating place to learn, with excellent facilities and registered, practising tutors who will make sure you’re being taught the latest techniques. To find out more watch this video of our students undertaking a skill exercise with one of our electronic mannequins.

This course is part of our family of healthcare programmes. You’ll have the chance to share experiences and knowledge with students from other disciplines, and to see how the professions work together.
