Aberystwyth University Kerry Lewis

Kerry joined the Department of Law & Criminology in 2008. Having trained at Herbert Smith in London, Kerry qualified as a solicitor in 2001. She then moved to Norton Rose, specialising in environment and planning law. Via a circuitous route involving snowboarding in Italy and marine survey work on a deserted Mexican peninsula, she returned to her home patch in West Wales in 2003, where she was a solicitor at a high street firm. Immediately prior to joining the department, she spent two years working for an environmental charity, providing support and training to local authority members and officers across Wales.

Kerry now teaches across undergraduate, postgraduate and distance learning modules, as well as offering dissertation supervision. She has a particular interest in nature conservation and environmental law.

Ms Kerry Lewis BA Hons (University of Manchester) Common Professional Exam (College of Law) LLM and PGCTHE (Aberystwyth University) FHEA Admitted as a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in 2001
