Aberystwyth University Bursary
For students beginning in 2017:
If your residual household income is £35,000 or below you will be entitled to receive a bursary towards your living costs. The current income thresholds are:
|Household Income||Annual Bursary|
|£0 – £25,000||£750|
|£25,001 – £35,000||£500|
UK students do not have to complete a separate application form for the bursary. When you are applying for student finance, please opt to ‘share’ your information on the relevant form. The University will then receive the financial assessment of your household income made by your local authority and will use this to assess your entitlement to a bursary.
Applicants from the EU should ensure that they have completed and returned the relevant student finance form, which should be sent to you by the EU Customer Services Team once you have returned the standard tuition fee support form EU16N for new students.
Our attractive packages of scholarships, bursaries and awards, worth up to £15,000 are in addition to any loans or grants – the best thing about them is that you don’t need to repay them! If you’re applying for a course in Computer Science, IBERS, Maths or Physics, you could receive even more.
