Abertay University Residences

For many of you, coming to university is the first time living away from home.

Having your own space can be a great experience, and living in university accommodation gives you the comfort of knowing you are in a safe, well maintained environment. You are also in the perfect place to make new friends and have a lot of fun.

We have over 500 bed spaces across four locations, all of which are a short walk from campus and the city centre. There are a range of room types – including bedsits, shared rooms and multi-occupancy flats – so you can be confident you’ll find something which suits your needs.

Our accommodation is self-catered and provides a mix of en-suite and shared bathroom facilities.

Wherever you stay, caretakers and security are available 24 hours a day, and a team of cleaners ensure the shared spaces and bathrooms – en-suite or otherwise – are cleaned regularly.

Application Process

To apply for our halls of residence, your offer to study with us must be either conditional or unconditional firm.  You will not be able to access the application if your offer to study is conditional insurance or unconditional insurance.  Unfortunately we are unable to take provisional bookings.

If you would like to apply for Parker House you must apply through us in the first instance.  Parker House lets rooms directly to our returning students and students from other institutions in and around Dundee, but we have a large number of rooms set aside for our new students.
